About the Artist & Concept

Created by JEE Saya, the Tattoobbies reinterpret the iconic Tattoo Bear through the language of tattoo art, street culture, and contemporary collectible art.

For Black Po, the original Aka Tattoobbie has been completely transformed with a deep black hand-painted finish, creating a darker and more understated interpretation of the character.

The piece features two distinctive tattoo-inspired elements: a Hannya mask on the belly and a Hōju (wish-fulfilling jewel) on the back, bringing together traditional Japanese symbolism with JEE’s unmistakable tattoo aesthetic.

A Handmade Work of Art

Each Black Po is individually hand-painted and finished by hand. Because of this process, no two figures will be exactly alike.
