Tatpooh Shokunin is the evolved version of the original figure, now featuring a defining element: the hachimaki 鉢巻— a traditional headband worn by Japanese artisans, warriors, and chefs and tattoo artist 

Symbolizing focus, honor, and perseverance, this 38 x 9 cm headband is crafted in organic cotton, hand-tied and full of spirit.

“Maestro del oficio — pequeño, pero incansable.”

This edition pays homage not only to the aesthetic of Japanese irezumi, but also to the soul of the shokunin (職人) — the devoted craftsman who chases mastery through discipline and purpose.

About the Piece

Created by artist Jee Saya, Tatpooh represents the rite of passage from innocence to identity — a fusion of playful form and the deep symbolism of tattoo culture.

Within Yakuza tradition, full-body tattoos stand as testaments to endurance, loyalty, and transformation.

In this figure, those values meet nostalgia, rebellion, and personal myth — brought to life with precision and soul.
